Personality: She is very soft-spoken and polite, often choosing to sacrifice her own opinion in order to avoid conflict. This comes from growing up in a house with five rowdy siblings who wouldn't give up an argument until she gave into them. She is very caring, but her trust is often misplaced. She shows skill in medicine, but doesn't have much training. This prompts her to lie about being a full-fledged medic. She's afraid that if she doesn't show the people of the city that she's useful, something bad will happen to her. 

 backstory: Ninette is an off world-er, originating from a rural farming planet far, far away from Adaptive. Her family didn't have much money, but they spent almost every cent they had to send her to the most prestigious medical school in the system. It was quite an accomplishment, being the first in five generations of farmers to graduate high school and attend college. Unfortunately, she disappeared a year and a half later, never to be found...

Sample: She was shaking, she never had to use a helmet before and she couldn't help but wonder if it really could keep out the ominous gasses that choked the city. Her body swayed as the shuttle took a turn;her breath ran loud through the filters as faceless bodies pressed around her. Jimmy had told her to get money, so here she was, on her way to get money. The job had been advertised in the corner of the latest news feed, and it was vague enough that she was beginning to wonder whether it was actually legal or not...
